Hi I’m Ting!
Mother, Baker and Founder of Ting’s Handmade.
Like any comic book superhero with superpowers (mine happens to be baking) there is always a juicy origin story. Fortunately, my story doesn’t involve any sadness or great regret, but the greatest joys in my life, my two children.
I was concerned about the types of treats and snacks that my children were enjoying. Every parent can relate to my predicament. On the one hand the enjoyment of treats can make us happy, but on the other hand they can also make us feel guilty and regretful.
I wanted healthier tasting treats that pulled no punches. I wanted to achieve the impossible. It was personal. Being a keen baker and using my children as inspiration, I thought I could do better.
I use high quality, premium ingredients and EVERY single one of my creations is handmade. No frills, cheap stuff or corners cut. After all these treats were intended for my children and I.
It didn’t take long for others to discover what I knew all along. When I shared my treats with friends and acquaintances - they were blown away. Their feedback became my trademark. Treats that were not overly sticky, nor sickly sweet, and tasted almost “healthy” and “guilt free”.
I had finally made it. I knew I had struck a chord and achieved what I had thought was impossible. Premium, clean tasting treats that appealed to one and all.
